Happy New Year!
....wow this one comes even later than my Merry Christmas post...lol
I want to start this post off with an apology to Pat17. A well known and respected BODOG cash player. The comments I said in retaliation to his comment to my whine post back in October was definitely over the line. He only stated what I knew was true in my heart of hearts. Namely that the site isn't rigged. Duh....the post was made right after a horrible session that compounded the prior ones. I attacked him personally which was unwarranted and unfair. I think we have since put this behind both of us. I regret I made that post and my comments in a state of rage. The post has been removed.
Well, it's a new year and poker has been great to me in 2007 ( excluding October). The profitted every month in 2007 except October and September.
Here is the link to my pocketfives.com profile: http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/WarCrimes
I am happy I beat out >65% of all other pocketfives members in terms of MTT's because I rarely play them.
Here are few goals for me in 2008:
1) Win back my original $40,000 on BODOG.
Very gay that I have to make getting my starting bankroll for the goal back. lol. But maybe I can get it back before the year gets too far along.
2) Play more live poker. ( either biweekly or weekly spend a weekend day in Atlantic City,NJ).
I used to play more live poker than online poker. I missed it actually, and have been playing alot recently with very good results. I used to believe the online players were terrible. In fact they were before this BS -Ports Security Act- Bush signed this pass year. I think the live scene is now flooded with donks. What's also great about this is that casinos don't spread micro limits. These fish have to play $1-2 at least.
3) Quit Smoking
I quit for 7 years then started again in the beginning of 2007. Yes I'm a tard.
Maybe that will make it easy for me?
4) Shed some extra pounds.
Gained 40 lbs in 2007. That's just gross. Poker was a direct contributor I am sure.
I hope you all have a great year to come! Gl on the felt.
Over the weekend I will have "The Maniac" post up.
Welcome....
The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my goal of turning $40,000 into $300,000.
If/When the goal is reached, I plan on solely playing cards as my means of income. Thus, retiring from my current career path.
It's going to be a rough ride. The ups & downs of full-time cash game poker are very taxing on the human mind.....
In the meantime I will also talk about poker, life, and other tid-bits.
Let me share with you my experiences.
Please feel free to leave comments and/or questions.
